Proposal for merging Northrop_Grumman_Ship_Systems into this page. NGSS is no longer used as Newport News and Gulf Coast operations have been merged into Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding. Avhell (talk) 17:11, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think preceding proposal is overcome by events. For Facilities section of Article - Instead of links going to article on city of location of facility, links should goe to article of history of the shipyard, pre-merger/bought . 23:52, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

I don't have the time now, but this article could be more interesting with some photos of examples of the different kind of ships in the Projects section.
